How to Download TeraBox Videos Without the App

TeraBox share links normally push you into installing the TeraBox app before you can watch or save anything, and the free tier throttles download speed hard. This guide shows how to open a TeraBox share link straight in your browser instead, on any device, and what to do when a link refuses to resolve.
What a TeraBox share link actually is
Every TeraBox share URL — whether it looks like terabox.com/s/..., 1024terabox.com/s/..., teraboxapp.com/s/... or a short teraboxlink.com redirect — points at a share record, not at the file itself. The record holds a share ID and, sometimes, a short access token. TeraBox's own web player reads that record, asks its backend for a temporary signed file URL, and streams it.
A browser-based downloader does the same handshake for you. It reads the share ID, requests the signed file URL, and hands you that URL directly. Nothing is copied onto our servers — you are downloading from TeraBox's own storage, which is why the speed is usually far better than the throttled in-app download.

Downloading on Android
Chrome on Android saves the file to Downloads by default. If the download stalls at 0 B, it is almost always Chrome's Data Saver or a VPN interfering with the signed URL — turn both off and retry. For large files, tap the Download button and leave the tab open until the notification shows a percentage; backgrounding Chrome too early can cancel the transfer.
If you would rather not keep a tab open, use the Telegram bot instead: it hands the file to Telegram's own downloader, which survives backgrounding and app switching.
Downloading on iPhone and iPad
Safari on iOS routes downloads into the Files app under Downloads (or iCloud Drive, depending on your setting). After the download completes, open Files, long-press the video and choose Save to Photos if you want it in your camera roll.
iOS will refuse to download some MIME types inline. If Safari opens the video in a player instead of saving it, use the share sheet and pick Save to Files.
When a TeraBox link will not resolve
Not every failure is a tool problem. Work through these in order before assuming the link is broken.
- •The share expired — TeraBox share links can be set to expire after 1, 7 or 30 days.
- •The share is password-protected — those need the password entered on TeraBox itself first.
- •The owner deleted the file or their account was suspended.
- •You pasted a truncated link — messaging apps often cut the URL at a space or emoji.
